En smak av lykke

Valeria Bruni Tedeschi is a talented actress, and in this drama comedy she does a marvelous performance as a megalomaniac upper class Tucan lady. Beatrice resides in the mental institution Villa Biondi, and is the only patient there in possession of George Clooney’s phone number and a designer wardrobe. The staff is well-meaning, but gullible, when they let their guard down for a moment they give Beatrice the chance to escape alongside Donatella – a young mother from a less fortunate background. Donatella is desperate to reunite with her son and has as many scars on her soul as she has tattoos on her body.

Both have freedom within reach, but what can freedom mean for two people who are so different? Like Crazy has many comedic moments, but also shows the fatal consequences of underestimating the seriousness of mentally unstable people’s problems. A diverse and multifaceted film from one of Italy’s most respected living directors. CF

Award ceremony

The screening of Like Crazy is preceeded by the festival's award ceremony in which the winners of the Oslo Grand Prize Fiction Award, the Oslo Grand Prize Documentary Award, and the Audience Award will be announced.

Closing party

After the screening, it's time to party! The closing party takes place at Den gamle skobutikken with DJ-set from Vibeke Bruff.

Paolo Virzì (b. 1964) is an Italian director, producer and scriptwriter from Livorno, Italy. He made his feature film debut with La Bella Vita (1994) which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. In the following years, he has made several award-winning films which has marked him as one of the most important living directors in contemporary Italian cinema. His last film, Human Capital, was released in Norway in 2015 to critical acclaim.
