FILM WITH WORDS – FRIDA MED HJERTET I HÅNDEN
Film With Words (Film med ord) has been a popular event at the Deichman Oslo Public Library at Tøyen for a long time. We are proud to announce a special edition of this successful concept at Oslo Pix. Films with Words is just what it sounds like: actors reading a film script on stage. The absence of images gives the audience a whole new experience of familiar films, encouraging the use of their imagination to connect the words to images. With virtually no preparation, director Heidi Toini guides the actors through the scenes. This evening they will enact the Norwegian classic Frida med hjertet i hånden directed by Berit Nesheim. Thirteen year-old Frida discovers useful tips about love in a book by psychoanalyst Erich Fromm. Using his advice, she tries to help her divorced mother and her friends out in their love life - mostly with disastrous results.
Actors: Rolf Kristian Larsen, Else Kåss Furuseth and Kristin Grue. Script: Torun Lian. Directed by Heidi Toini.
In cooperation with Deichman Oslo Public Library Tøyen. NB! This event is held in Norwegian only.
