Peter Doherty - Stranger in My Own Skin
An intimate documentary on the life of English rock star Peter Doherty, and his struggle with addiction to hard drugs.
Director and musician Katia deVidas, also Peter Doherty's partner, filmed the artist for over a decade. This intimate and raw material forms the basis of the film, which documents the Libertines vocalist's painful journey that occurred alongside the band's success. Through Doherty's own words and emotions, we see his brave and often poetic struggle to overcome his demons.
