Solitude
A friendship across generations provides a bit of peace to two lonely outcasts in this touching drama from Iceland.
On a weathered farm in the Icelandic countryside lives a lonely elderly man. He has been alone for so long that social interaction with other people has become difficult. When he is informed that his property is to be taken over by the government, he is forced to move to the city. There, he meets his 10-year-old neighbor, and they develop an unexpected friendship.
