Woman of the Hour

The film tells the true story of serial killer Rodney Alcala, who, in the 1970s, participated in and won a date on the popular game show «The Dating Game.»

Woman of the Hour marks Anna Kendrick’s impressive directorial debut. The film follows Cheryl Bradshaw, played by Kendrick herself, an aspiring actress who becomes a bachelorette on the show. What begins as an opportunity for exposure takes a terrifying turn when one of the contestants is revealed to be a dangerous serial killer.
