Get ready for this year's festival!

This year's program offers amazing films, interesting director visits, and exciting panel discussions. We have gathered some useful tips on how you can make the most of the festival.

HOW DO YOU NAVIGATE THE PROGRAM?

You can find the program overview by clicking «Menu» at the top right of the website and then selecting «Film Program.» When you open the page, the films are automatically sorted by the festival's different sections. Choose «Alphabetical» from the dropdown menu on the left to see a list of all films alphabetically. For a chronological order, select "Calendar," which will show all screenings by date and time.

Please note that the program may change. We strive to inform you of any changes as best as possible.

See the film program here.

EVENTS, CONVERSATIONS AND PARTIES

Some of the festival's screenings have events associated with them. Screenings with events are marked with a ticket icon and the event name under the screening time. In the film descriptions, there will also be links to the associated event.

You'll find a full overview of events during the festival here.

In addition to panels and parties, some films may feature introductions from partners before the screening or conversations with actors, directors, or other film workers after the screening. This means that some screenings may last a bit longer. Therefore, it's a good idea to allow for some extra time between films if you plan to see multiple films in one day, especially if you're watching films at different cinemas.

SOLD OUT SCREENINGS

Some of the festival's screenings may sell out. When following ticket links to these screenings and attempting to purchase a ticket, you might encounter an error message when trying to make the transaction.

At Nordisk Film Kino you can use the NFkino App to see how many tickets are left for each screening.

We continuously update the film pages when screenings sell out.

RUSH LINE
We want to avoid empty seats at our screenings. Therefore, it is possible to queue outside sold-out screenings and get a seat if someone does not show up.

If you have a ticket, arriving on time for the screening is therefore important. All screenings start promptly.

PLAN YOUR FESTIVAL WITH «MY FILMS»

If you plan on seeing many films, it may be a good idea to create an account and plan your festival journey with My Films.

  1. Start by registering as a new user.
  2. Save all the films you would like to see by clicking the heart in the lower right corner of the film image in the film program or on the right side of the title/screening time on the specific film's page.
  3. When you return to «My Films,» all the films you have saved will be shown chronologically.
  4. You will get a warning if two screenings overlap in time. Then, you can easily change one of the screenings by clicking on the «screenings» below the film you want to switch out and then clicking the heart next to a specific screening.

All screenings are marked with an end time, but it may occur that the film is finished a few minutes after the time listed here.
