This year's program is exciting and varied with a number of films from Cannes, Norwegian films and engaging events both inside and outside the cinema hall.
Enjoy! The seventh edition of the Oslo Pix Film Festival has an extensive and exciting program with many highlights! Here are some tips on what you can see and experience during late summer's most important festival.
Monday 26th of August: Norwegian premiere at the Colosseum of ARMAND by Halfdan Ullman Tøndel with Renate Reinsve in the lead role. The film is also shown at Vega Stage this Monday, and has two further screenings later in the festival.
Tuesday 27th : World premiere of Paul Tunge's film INVITATION TO SELF-EXAMINATION. There will also be a film screening and mini-concert with the Danish band Efterklang at SALT.
Wednesday 28th : Meet the experimental and innovative director Sean Price Williams (known for SWEET EAST and others) in collaboration with the film magazine Montages. There will also be a kick-off with a free outdoor cinema at Birkelunden, where i.a. TOP GUN: Maverick will be featured.

Thursday 29th : Norwegian premiere at the Colosseum of the documentary MINA OG RØVERNE by Kari Anne Moe with Mina Hadjian. On the same day, Magnus von Horn will be a guest at the festival with the film THE GIRL WITH THE NEEDLE, and the short films by illustrator Bendik Kaltenborn will be shown on Vega Scene with a subsequent conversation.
Friday 30st : The Swedish film HYPNOSEN is shown at the Ringen cinema with Herbert Nordrum in conversation after the film, and there will be an outdoor cinema at the old Veterinary College with, among others, THE FANTASTIC MR FOX

Saturday 31st: A rare opportunity to experience the cult classic LOST IN TRANSLATION by Sofia Coppola in hotel surroundings outdoors on the terrace of Radisson Blu Scandinavia.
Sunday 1st: The festival ends with LOVE by Lilja Ingolfsdottir, who won a total of five awards during this year's film festival in Karlovy Vary. There will also be a screening of Erik Poppe's QUISLING'S LAST DAYS where Anders Danielsen and Gard B. Eidsvold will be present after the screening
