Cinema screenings
We are thrilled about the cinemas in Oslo opening, and the program schedule and ticket sales are out now. Here, you will find some updated information about cinema screenings during Oslo Pix.
We are thrilled about the cinemas in Oslo reopening before Oslo Pix! This means that we will be screening several of this year's films at Vega Scene and Vika Cinema during the festival. All cinema screenings will take place between June 2–6.
We have now finalized the program and published the screening schedule and tickets for cinema screenings and digital screenings on our website.
The full festival program is available on our program site. Many films will only be digitally available on our screening platform, while some of the films will be screened exclusively in cinemas during the festival. Links to digital screenings and ticket sale for cinema screenings are available on the information page of each film.
TALKS AND EVENTS
Even this year, it will be possible to meet the filmmakers behind several of the films in the program. The majority of the conversations will take place digitally and will be available on the digital platform during the festival. Some events are streamed on facebook. Detailed information can be found on our event pages, and on Oslo Pix's Facebook page.
We have also invited our Norwegian guests to meet the audiences at selected cinema screenings during the festival. Updated information about live Q&As will be published on the website as soon as possible.
LIMITED CAPACITY IN THE CINEMAS
Even if the cinemas reopen, the current infection prevention restrictions state that there is a maximum capacity of 20 people at each cinema screening. This means that it's a good idea to secure your tickets early!
Here, you will find more information about infection control and ticket sales at Vika kino and Vega Scene (in Norwegian).
DIGITAL FESTIVAL
You can read more about our digital screenings here, and check out Oslo Pix's digital screening platform.
To make it easier to watch films during the festival, we have also developed our own app! It is called "Oslo Pix 2021" and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Read more about the app here.
