Thirteen Cannes films at this year's festival

It will be a bonanza of films from the world's most important film festival, featuring award winners and exciting debutants.

We are very excited to bring home a total of thirteen films from this year's Cannes Festival. In addition to ARMAND, which won the prestigious Camera d’Or, we have many other films to look forward to at this year's festival. The opening film from Un Certain Regard, the beautiful Icelandic WHEN THE LIGHT BREAKS by Rúnar Rúnarsson, explores love, grief, and friendship. The dreamlike coming-of-age film PARTHENTOPE by Paolo Sorrentino features stunning Italian settings and a female lead. Also on the program is the winner for best director, the experimental and melancholic GRAND TOUR by Miguel Gomes.

Ljósbrot

WHEN THE LIGHT BREAKS by Rúnar Rúnarsson was this year's opening film in the Un Certain Regard section.

You can also experience the Cannes sensation THE SUBSTANCE, Demi Moore’s major comeback, which won the prize for best screenplay. THE STORY OF SOULEYMANE by Boris Lojkine received both the jury's prize and the best male actor award, with amateur Abou Sangare delivering an intense portrayal of an immigrant working as a bike courier in the streets of Paris. The film The Balconettes won the prize for best cinematography.

Grand Tour

GRAND TOUR by Miguel Gomes participated in the main competition at Cannes, where it won the award for best director.

We are also showing the American BLUE SUN PALACE. Constance Tsang received the jury's prize during Critics' Week. The exciting and relevant French WILD DIAMOND by debutante Agathe Riedinger is a portrait of the influencer generation, reflecting themselves to death. Danish THE GIRL WITH THE NEEDLE, American GOOD ONE and IT DOESN'T MATTER, and Irish SEPTEMBER SAYS are also on the program.
